How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

A free spirt! Flag dancing is my release. It is a way to see and feel music. A way of expression.


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

I enjoy flagging in its entirety. The expresssion of the art from start to finish. Choosing the fabric, the colors, taking them out for the first time to show them off, the attention. It’s a state of being and and art.


How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

I have been flagging for 7 years and I first learned about flagging from a group of friends in Rehoboth Beach.


What was your first flagging experience?

My 1st flagging experience was at a morning party at The Hodge Podge Lodge with a group of wonderful people.


What was one of your best flagging experiences?

Who has inspired or taught you?

Craig Rocklin is who I consider my mentor, my Flag Daddy!


What was one of your wildest or craziest flagging experiences?

Backstreet in Atlanta, New Years, 2005, I was one the local news and didn’t even know until it broadcasted later that evening.


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

Yes I make all of my own fans, rags, spines, poi of all styles. I’m always trying new ideas as I’m sure all flaggers do.


Where do you often like to flag?

I flag everywhere! At home, the park, the clubs, of course. Whenever and Where ever.There is never NOT a good time to flag.


What are your favorite types of flags to work with, and why?

Their all my favorites but I like the visuals the most with the spines

Be patient! Slow down! Enjoy it! Feel it!
