What was one of your best flagging experiences?
3 AM in FEDERATION at the RITZ, Manchester, UK. The huge main stage was empty and I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. went onto the main stage and started to build it up! The crowd started screaming! Then the lighting technician started with lights behind and smoke to leave my silhouette followed by working with the dj to build up the music to finish with a lazer show on me! UNREAL!! ive never had jawache from smiling so much before!!! It was my first time on a stage and i felt so comfortable! The crowd was amazing! x
Who has inspired or taught you?
Wassim. He taught me the basics and then encouraged me to find my own style but with guidance. If it wasnt for him i would never have started flagging. And for getting me started and addicted i will always be truely grateful. And he is amazing! His flagging is unlike anything ive ever seen. Beautiful. x
Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?
Ive just bought a sewing machine, plenty of fabric and have loads of ideas. Watch this space and my gallery. Im starting with the non-silks first and using larry as my style guru. x
