How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

Freestyle, seductive, soulful.
Once I’m in the groove of it the music controls the flags


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

I can forget all my worries in life


How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

Since 1995. My fan daddy D. Ames put the first pair in my hands. I have since made him a fan granddaddy.


What was your first flagging experience?

On stage at the Saint At Large, Black Party 1995.
Everyone said I was ready. I just closed my eyes.
When the party was over I looked down on the dance floor and the ones I honored as masters of the art bowed their heads to me and applauded. I cried.
