In June 2005 we modeled Speedo’s at a fundraiser event for Dallas Hospice.
The event raised a lot of money for a good cause, and it was even more fun than I had imagined.
Of course the most fun was had in the dressing room itself--as usual. Any ideas why? :-)
All the guys were easy going, and were up for just about anything.
I was flattered to be asked to participate, but just a bit nervous. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about doing "runway" work.
But I was able to drop in my role pretty well. I suppose my previous experiences prepared me pretty well for strutting my stuff.
The other guys didn’t seem to have any problems either!
Yah, plenty of strutting to be done. :)
Bill went for a shy look at first.
Ted quickly got into the spirit of things.
We’d been asked to work something of personal interest into one of our walks, so guess what I chose?
As there were many people who had never seen flagging, this went over quite well. But I had to be really careful to avoid the rose bushes!
Of course, the real fun started once we relaxed and started playing around. ...Hey, I mean that in a "clean" way!
I was happy to hear from several people who thought I was experienced as a model ... I must have come across as fairly confident after all.
I was really tickled when the yummy hot bartenders invited me to work with them.
Yummy. I thanked them for the compliments, and thought about doing...more. :-)
The end of an interesting afternoon...
