The flaggers were all wonderful and had a great time--sharing, encouraging, and working together to make a great event even better.

The audience responded extremely well, cheering and applauding and letting us know they enjoyed our shows.

Our group consisted of myself, Patric Nast, Richard Ballou, Greg Evans, Damian Martinez, Mike Hedger, Tim Swann, and Steve Reedy.

This was exactly the kind of get-together I like: everyone helped and had a positive attitude, and it was inclusive. Definitely my kind of scene. And the Jungle Party Promoters were very helpful--special thanks to Jimmy G!

We did two shows during the evening. We wore jungle pants for one, and glowing silk pants for the second. During the second show we used firestick flags I’d made for the event, and I think they looked amazing.

Manny spun music for us that was absolutely perfect for flagging.

This was definitely show/stage flagging as opposed to deep flagging, but it was a celebration, and a lot of fun!

I enjoy putting together shows that "ramp up".

For our second show we all started out with silk flags tie-dyed to look like fire...

Pretty, right?

Then, when the show shifted, Steve came out spinning sets of glowsticks.

He’s spinning several sets here, and having a grand time doing it.

He wore my silk-fire shorts, and went barefoot. It looked very island-tribal.

Then the music shifted again, and the rest of us came out with the firestick flags.

Hearing the audience cheer when we came out was a huge adrenaline boost!

Yah, we had a great time!

Over the years I’ve made many sets of "lighted" flags. I’ve continued to refine the design, to make the flags sturdier and yet easier to spin.

With these sets I came fairly close to making sets that spin like "normal" flags.

*fairly* close...there’s still plenty of room for improvement!
