Closing Party at the Aragon Theater

An exciting way to end the week.

the main
performance.

Christopher was on one
of the side platforms.

Thirteen feet high,
these platforms took
a little while to get
comfortable on.

of the dance floor on
another platform.

The platforms had multiple
lights on them, so we had
limited space.

I’m on the center platform,
fifteen feet up.

There’s no guard rail in
front, so we were very
careful.

Later on, Circuit Mom
entered the scene
among a beefy
entourage.

Our second performance
was simple and fun --
silks on stage.

Several other flaggers
joined us, and we began
with sets from the Gay
Games ceremonies.

We were swimming in
blacklight, and the effect
of so many matching
sets on stage at once
was dazzling.
