In the past I found
it challenging
to have good color
saturation and still
have the areas come
out "clean" without
appearing flat.
I’m very pleased with
how this set turn out.
Both the gold and the
blue areas have a lot
of layering that looks
good still and in motion,
in daylight and under UV.
This was a pretty tricky tie-dye
design. Notice the asymmetry
of the blue and rose crystal
areas, each enclosed within a
yellow lattice. Seeing the
design in my head was one thing;
figuring out how to do it felt like
mental gymnastics.
My favorite parts of this set are
the purple centers of the rose
crystals. I love their shapes, and
they go almost black under UV.
