These are my "Suspended" sets, made especially for this party.
Steve had described the lighting setup for the Friday party, and he wondered if I had anything that would work well with it. We’d be onstage with lasers and lights going through our plane of motion.
I’d found this clear material, and had exactly enough to make three sets. Each set took hours to sew--there’s so much stitching!
The visual effect was *amazing*. The lighting guy knew exactly what we needed. We started with UV lights, creating the effect of floating green squares. When the music kicked, he really worked the lasers, creating a stunning strobe effect as the flags intercepted the beams. The crowd cheered! What a great response.

This was the first time I’d even flown the set, and I was really pleased with how well it flew and how nice the lights looked in motion.
