My History

How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

I go with the flow and allow the music to move me.


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

I enjoy the stress relief after a good dance session.


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

I make my own sets. Mostly out of silk, and use fluorescent dyes in bold patterns for the highest impact while dancing.


Where do you often like to flag?

Anywhere I can.

What are your favorite types of flags to work with, and why?

Silk flags are wonderful. I love how the flow through the air.


What advice do you give to beginning flaggers?

Keep your body loose to help improve you flagging.


What nice/unusual comment has anyone said to you while flagging?

The best comment I ever got was from a friend, who had never said a word about my flagging… He told me “That he can see the music as I dance with my flags.” It made me tear up.
