Stephen DeRose was my first flagging teacher. However, I was most inspired by an anonymous flagger I remember from a visit to Probe in Los Angeles sometime in the year 2000. Handsome and built like a brick sh*thouse, I watched him as he twirled flags made of shear fabric, which hugged his body in the most sensual way. I’d seen flagging before, but this was the first time I saw flags interacting with the body of the flagger… Ve-ry Hot!
