How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

Not to toot my own horn but practice makes perfect.

Ok Ok Ok I?m not perfect but I know I?m good at what I do.

What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

However odd this sounds I?m sorry? I really just like to get into my zone where people are watching and enjoying my ?art? if you will.

How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

It’s been about 3 years… With a year off. I started as one of those annoying kids with the lights.

Hrmm… Oh I don’t like those kids now :)

What was your first flagging experience?

A guy named Jay Harris from St. Louis was at Fireball 2001…. I’d never seen anything like it. I still remember his flags, they were torn and very worn but that’s what I like the most.

I still remember every second and how awesome he was.

What was one of your best flagging experiences?

Just Read my Article on Being Noticed.

Who has inspired or taught you?

Phillip taught me a new phrase today: "Flag Daddy" … lol

- Dave Ouano, I used to see him at a party and go over for awhile and just stare in amazement… I think he thought I was stalking me for a bit.

He and I are now good friends and I think my skills have impressed Dad.

What was one of your wildest or craziest flagging experiences?

Well not the craziest but having suburban mom’s asking me if they could buy my flags becuz their kids want learn so bad.

Where do you often like to flag?

Outside on my roof, Crobar, Circuit Night Club, and Market Days .. Any Stage where I won’t hurt people.

What are your favorite types of flags to work with, and why?

Silk Tie Dye…. I love Tie Dye just becuase of the effect under a black light and in sun light can be so intense.

What are your favorite flagging quotes?

Some guy talking to me at a club say HOW DID YOU DO THAT…

What advice do you give to beginning flaggers?

SLOW DOWN and learn the basics and always bring your arms in close to you for a more fluid effect. I jumped the gun and moved right into the more advanced stuff without learning the basics. That made it very difficult to retrain my hands to come in and out of the basics when I learned them later.

What nice/unusual comment has anyone said to you while flagging?

I had a lesbian dancing on stage behind me, who thought he was a rock start rip off her shirt so all you saw was a white sports bra say to me… You’re really good but get off the stage I need to show off.
