Who has inspired or taught you?

The flaggers at Pleasuredome the years 1995-2000.. I moved to a place called Fiddletown with my then partner, the town is a block long, 1 post office, the nearest store 6 miles away…so you can imagine, nothing to do but watch the grass grow…. went threw all my movies at least a dozen times, sewed evry piece of leather I had. and one day it came to me, I have always admired the flaggers and I wanted to learn and make my own, and so I did once I finiished my flaggs, not the greatest, by any means.. went into the yard with my walkman, and flaggs and let myself go… that is how I started and wish I had started sooner..when I flagg I am in my own world and the music keeps lifting me higher, it is the greatest feeling for me… to let myself go….


Where do you often like to flag?

Oasis, in Palm Springs…the space is great it has a stage for flaggers

    Well … I hate to say this.. but it was a big disappointment, the DJ jeffery Sanker was promoting… Morning Star… should not lose her day job, she wasn’t going anywhere with the music she was playing.. and it is very rare that I don’t like music that a true D.J. is playing… she’ no star

    Attention flaggers and friends… July 13th I will be celebrating my birthday…i wil be 51 years old… god i ‘m an old fart ! I will be celebrating at Oasis in Plam Springs ,Calif. there will be no DJ,bring your favorite cd of all times and get the chance to flag to it , one c.d. per flagger please, with your name on it. this is the time I like to see all my friends out on the floor flagging. I will be taking pics this year. so please come out and help me celebrate.. there will be no cover charge, not a fundraisr..starting at 2:30 p.m. till we all drop….Thgank you, Jon Lopez
