These were made as a pair of matched sets. I folded the silk together in hopes of learning how to make matched sets for the ForePlay flaggers. This was a first attempt, and if I do say so myself, the best work I have ever done.
The concept was to develop a fan patter on the flag with dark veins and splashes of bright colors. I used Rhodamine, Pylam, Flavine Yellow, and Jet Black on these - a second attempt with black, and the use of very saturated dyes. The flags are very subtle in regular light and really pop the blues and yellows in the black light.
These are called wormholes (for Dan) because they are a matched set. The 1st pair is with Daniel Van Olst and the I retain the second pair. The concept is that whenever we spin them, wherever we are, a wormhole will open to connect the two places - ok it is corny, but it heart felt.
