How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

Still got a lot to learn.


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

Getting lost in the fabric.

How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

Going on 2 years now.

What was your first flagging experience?

Fell in love with flagging after the Nations party in Thailand. The images remained but it was only much later that I picked up my first set of flags.


What was one of your best flagging experiences?

Flagging at the gay outdoor New Year’s party in Taipei. It was the first time I had enough courage to flag in public. As soon as the flags started flying the complete dance floor stopped dancing and started to cheer. This was the first time most of these guys saw flagging.


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

Yes. Tie dye silks, organza and poi flags.


Where do you often like to flag?

At home with the black lights on. A club in Taipei called Funky, the beach and parks.


What are your favorite types of flags to work with, and why?

Tye Dye silks.

What advice do you give to beginning flaggers?

Practice..practice and more practice! :P
