How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

Newbie and eager to learn. Be gentle guys.


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

The fluidity, the music, the peacefulness, the chaos, the space, being present.


How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

Dec 2006. My friends asked me if I want to learn. I was hesitant at first since I know nothing about it but got hooked as soon as I started doing it.


What was your first flagging experience?

LA New Years Eve First Dance at the Arena. After learning a few moves I was asked to flag on stage. It came very naturally – LOL.


Who has inspired or taught you?

John Wong, John Lyon, and Glenn initially. They are the most generous and gorgeous dancers.

Then there’s Xavier, and Keith Loring.


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

1/6/07. Not yet and I don’t have an idea what I want. But I’ve always liked the picture of a pink daisy (I’ve used it on my website and marketing material), I guess it’s an inspiration. Any ideas guys? I’m pretty open to possibilities.

4/6/07. Yes I now make my own sets and gifting/sharing them with friends. Don’t have a sewing machine to saw the weights though. So any idea guys?
