How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

definately a beginner!

What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

I enjoy the music, the beauty of it and that it is something you can do on your own. Seeing peoples reactions and enjoyment is rewarding too.


How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

Just started spring of 06, looked around the web and started trying to figure out the moves from pictures and what I remembered seeing do.


What was your first flagging experience?

I live in a downtown loft so I had to start by practicing on my roof deck…a bit of a surprise to see in a relatively small town. But, I then jumped right in flagging at several of this years White Party events.


Who has inspired or taught you?

He doesn’t know it, but a freind of mine John, who is full of life and knows how to enjoy it inspired me, but so did Phillip and everyone at the Colorado Workshop.


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

Have been making tie dye sets, but I am still struggling with my dye mixes as I can’t seem to get them to really pop in black light. Although I like some of the patchwork flags I have seen I am sticking to tye dye as I am not so good on the sewing machine…but I am getting better on that too.
