My History

How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

I love to free style flag.  Love getting lost in the moment and sharing energy on the floor. 


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

the artestry.. the connection to the music


How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

I’ve been flagging now for about 3 (?) or 4 (?) years I guess?  Maybe less but it feels like longer.


What was your first flagging experience?

My friend Jamie getting me up on stage at Paradise night club on the Jersey Shore and putting a set of flags in my hands.


What was one of your best flagging experiences?

Flagging with NYC Flaggers at the Staten Island Pride Event


Who has inspired or taught you?

I think everyone is a source of inspiration and everyone can teach you something. 


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

I love to make and dye my own flags.  The bigger the better.  My largest set is 60 X 45.


What are your favorite types of flags to work with, and why?

The bigger the better.. I love how smooth they move.


What advice do you give to beginning flaggers?

just do it.. get out there.. talk to people..don’t be shy


Do you have an ultimate flagging experience that you would like to achieve, but have not yet?

Yeah.. I would love to flag at one of the large partys.. white party.. black party .. etc..


What are your favorite songs to flag to?

Anything.. I’ve flagged to club music as well as Kenny G.. LOL..
