How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

I’m pretty good, but could improve… I’m self-taught and have yet to see anyone besides my friend Robert flag. ( we started at the same time.) I learned how to use poi first, then I saw a pair of flags in a magazine and had to have them!


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

The freedom!!! It also relaxes me somehow.


How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

3-4 years now.


What was your first flagging experience?

in my bedroom after they came in the mail… went to the only club here that allows flags that night! I loved it!


What was one of your best flagging experiences?

When I discovered that I could hold them both in one hand, twirl them that way, then seperate them to everyones surprise… including mine! LOL


What was one of your wildest or craziest flagging experiences?

When some guy asked to try, I let him, but he didn’t want to give them back! Plus he kept stepping on them!


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

Not yet. I wish!

Where do you often like to flag?

Anywhere I go, my flags go! Really!!! I flag in the park, at home, pretty much anywhere I can. There’s only one club here that allows flagging.


What advice do you give to beginning flaggers?

Let go, relax, keep going, and Breath!!!


What nice/unusual comment has anyone said to you while flagging?

OMG! You are so talented! That is beautiful! I’ve never seen that before!

    Hi again!

    I was just wondering if you know of anywhere/anyone near Las Vegas, Nevada… There’s only one place here where flags and poi are allowed, and they are exspensive to get into/buy drinks (i.e. water is $7.00 a bottle, & $30.00 cover).

    I don’t know anyone here who flags… I’m the only one here who does it, and I want to learn more than I do. I’m good, but there has to be more. I’m self-taught, so I’d really like to see someone else do it too. (smile)

    I think you and your flags are absolutely beautiful by the way!!!
