East Coast guy here. Learned to make and spin FANS from Joe Morris (DC) who learned from Franklin (NYC)(not sure of Franklin’s last name). Been out of commission for about 6 years due to Pneumonia and spine surgery and now I walk funny but love fanning when I don’t fall over.. I would like to teach guys how to make fans if anyone is interested. Well make them the way I learned, there is of course many ways of doing every thing.. ..lets keep learning new ideas! 
I have only worked flags once, I would love to make a pair of fans for myself..  wouldn’t mind getting help from others. Maybe work an exchange fans for flags make em together?
