How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

I’m a newbie – but I think I may have a talent! lol


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

I love losing myself in the movement – letting my mind get tangled in the flags and just letting go!


How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

Have only been flagging for a few weeks – got interested when I saw Phillip’s site, then my buddy, Sum got a set of flags -


What was your first flagging experience?

My first flagging experience was at a backyard barbecue


What was one of your best flagging experiences?

So far, my best flagging experience has been at the latest Toronto Leather Ball – Sum and I flagged onstage in black light – the flags looked as if they were on fire!

WE felt like we were!


Who has inspired or taught you?

Phillip inspired me. Sum showed me how to hold the flag – after that, it was just pure instinct.


What was one of your wildest or craziest flagging experiences?

I am young at this – so not much experience – but try flagging on a roof and just watch the people on the street. Cars were doing u-turns to come back and take pictures! That was one wild ride!


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

I have not made a flag – but I am hoping to learn.


Where do you often like to flag?

Hand me a flag and play some music and I’ll flag anywhere!


What are your favorite types of flags to work with, and why?

Have only tried two sets of flags – also some big fans (that is different)! The silk flage are just amazing.


What are your favorite flagging quotes?

OK guys, send me some quotes! Give me something to choose from!


What advice do you give to beginning flaggers?

If you think this is for you, grab a flag and start . . .


What nice/unusual comment has anyone said to you while flagging?

"Hi, I’m from Detroit – can I take your picture?"

    Well, I don’t have any plans on leaving this world in the near future . . . but if I did, then there is only one person who will get my flags! My hero, my best bud, my inspiration and my flagging partner – Sum Wong!
