My History

How would you describe yourself as a flagger?

Different, and let me explain a bit, when I first started with flagging, I had no ideal what I was doing, had only seen it once, and was left with a pair, so I had to teach myself, and didn’t really know some of the standard moves, so you can only image what I look like while flagging, LOL


What is it about flagging that you enjoy the most?

Expression, I love that I can feel the music and turn it into something visual, and the connection I have with people around me, that I really enjoy the most,


How long have you been flagging? How did you get started?

I will be 9 years this summer, and I was a party, and friends and myself were just being "us" and a guy came up to us and said you guys would make great flagging with the positive energy you have, and he started to try and teach us, and at the end of the night he gave each of us our own pair of flags.


What was your first flagging experience?

What was one of your best flagging experiences?

New Orleans, Halloween Party, 1999, I was asked to flag, at the party, and I it was wonderful, I had my own stage, and was there for hours,


Who has inspired or taught you?

As I stated earlier, I was given Flags, by a nameless guy from San Fran, he had red hair, and was really handsome, but I had to teach myself, and My other friends, who learned with me, they inspired me as well,


Do you make your own sets? Can you describe what kind you make?

No any more, My dear friend Roger from Long Beach made most of what I have now, at the start, I was given my first pair, and tried to make sets after, some good, some not so good, LOL


What advice do you give to beginning flaggers?

Be yourself, I find with most, they want to look or do what others are doing, I say, Just be you, and do you, if it happens to look like someone else fine, but enjoy and relax
