It would be great if some Big Production company with the financial backing was in the works to make something in the arena of a musical (with elaborate flagging routines choreographed to a variety of human/cultural/etc script angles, huh?). The storylines could dictate the types of flags, routines, etc. Myriads of possibillities! I think flagging, fanning, poi and the likes are forms of expression, music, and entertainment just waiting to be harnassed and directed for the world to enjoy. Ya think??? My thoughts spontaneously spew sometimes, but that’s something I have just come to accept (LOL).
I think that it would be an in-demand creative showy/art form that people would come to see again and again because they get lost in the flagging while relating to whatever storyline. Finding the spectrum in which to do such an ideology is a puzzle piece. Now having the business plan and actual $$ and coconutz to give such a thing a realistic chance, that’s where I am pretty Clueless. But never hurts to throw out your thoughts – ya never know they might just get picked up and puzzled together with the right stuff and >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

footnote: I fell in love with flagging about 5 years ago and have slowly but surely in my personal evolution thru life began to think that this really could be some sort of profitable form of expresssion rather than just ‘our own thing’. Hell, flagging started out way back when just as some silly queens sewing and throwing one day to make a splash with their friends and public!!!
