This year’s Odyssey 5, on Sunday March 21, will be at Columbus72 — and will
have a great space for spinners:
=> The new venue has an area right next to the main dance-floor with its own
lights and mirrorball, to which we’ll be adding some blacklights!
Columbus72 is at 246 Columbus Avenue, between 71 & 72 Streets. It’s a
comfortable club with plentiful seating both on and off the main dance-floor –
so there will be space to go through your bag and organize your toys.
Travel to the club is quite easy, with subway stops on both the IND (A/C) and
the IRT (1, 2, and 3) nearby – and cabs readily available for the trip home…
Advance tickets for "Odyssey" are on sale at Arcadia, 228 Eighth Avenue (between
21 & 22 Streets), for $30 – they’ll be more at the door…
BUT
– if you bring a print-out of this e-mail to give to the cashier, showing that
you’re a fan/flag player — you can get a ticket at the door for the advance
price of $30.
The dancing starts at 6:30 PM and go until…
BUT the doors will close at 2:00 AM, so make sure you arrive before then.
