    Dear Spin Tribe,

For the past year or two I have maintained and paid for the C Force web
site. The cost to me is $300.00 per year out of my own pocket. I have not
had the time or energy as of yet to update or re-design the site. I would
love to do this but only if enough people think that this site would be
appreciated and used. I would hate to turn off the site, but I am not sure
why I am keeping it going right now.

Please let me know what you all think. There is a lot of good info on the
site and I know I would love to add many more photo’s, articles, sources and
    links.

    Please get back to me,

    Regards and love to all,

    Dino

This is a good question.. I know Mark Ludwig here in MPLS is running
    http://www.spintribe.com.

Does our group want an international site with galleries/pics/links/info?

    Dino,

I would not image that the site consumes too much space. If not, I would be
more that happy to park the CForce domain on our server and host the pages. It
would be as simple as updating the DNS to point to us and then copy over the
    site.

Let me know if you are interested.

Back when I was a beginning flagger, I found the C Force Website to be a
fantastic resource for me, particularly with respect to making my own
flags. I certainly utilized all of the dying and weighting instructions
to make my first set. I still refer back to it for weighting
    instructions to this day.

I would be a shame to see it disappear.

Wow, we frequently don’t recognize the value of something until faced with losing it.

So, let me make you aware of something that it would have been appropriate for me to thank you for a long time ago.

When I first started flagging, I was turned on to SpinTribe.  From there, I linked to all the sites listed, including CForce, and read about flagging, its history, flag making, personal stories from people, and, probably most importantly, the pride of the Tribe.

I’d hate to lose any of those resources or not see them available for those new to the art.

    Hi Dino,

When Xavier first showed me the CForce site, I was delighted.
Finally, all the information I’d been searching for! I’m sure many
others feel the same way, and we’d certainly miss this resource.

The cost you mentioned does seem high. I can suggest lower cost
hosting, or you could park the site on one of my sites’ servers. I
have plenty of room and it would be easy to switch over.

If it’s a matter of the time and energy needed for maintenance and
updates, several people would be willing to "housesit" for awhile.
    I’m one of them!

Good luck with whatever you decide,
