The tie-dye sessions at Flagger Weekend include instruction for various techniques.

Some workshops from previous years include:
    – Mandallas,
    – Spirals,
    – the Chakra fold,
    – Shapes and Symbols,
    – the Nebula fold,
    – Speed Spirals, and
    – Poi Flags.

Is there a particular technique you would like to learn?  Feel free to suggest something that hasn’t been taught before.  And if you have a technique you would like to share, we’d love to hear about it!

For those of us that would be interested in a detailed step-by-step instruction manual that are unable to travel, would there ever be a way for that to be explained, sent, paid for, etc?

    Hi Dorian,

We’re keeping things simple and not doing a souvineer book this year, but there’s a good tutorial by Dan Van Olst for the Chakra fold in a previous year’s book.  I’ll see if  there are still some copies available.

I’m still converting articles from the old site, and will add the Chakra fold tutorial to the site as soon as I can.

More articles on tie-dye techniques and sewing are defintiely on my to-do list.

I know this is really obscure, but I would like to see the fold and process used to create “Chablis”, the very flowing design.
